Steps:
1- After tubing or hose has been connected to adapters
1 and
12 , install O-Rings
2 and
11 - on adapters- Be sure O-Rings are not twisted-
2- Oil O-Rings
2 liberally with system fluid to prevent them from scuffing and tearing when coupling body is threaded on adapter-
3- S2 Half—Lubricate poppet face with system fluid- Insert poppet valve assembly
3 into body
4 - Tighten body 4 on adapter 1 - After body and adapter make metal-to-metal contact, tighten by rotating body
4 1/8” with respect to adapter
1 or torque per table value-
S5 Half—Oil O-Ring 9 - liberally with system fluid- Insert valve and sleeve assembly 10 into body
8 - Tighten body
on adapter
12 - After body and adapter make met-al-to-metal contact, tighten by rotating body 8 1/8” with respect to adapter
12 or torque per table value-
4- Coupling Connection—Lubricate gasket seal
5 on 5400-S2 half with system fluid- Thread union nut
on 5400-S2 half- Tighten union nut to torque values shown in table- Be sure S2 and S5 bodies do not rotate during connection-

浸沒式液冷技術(shù)作為一種新型制冷方案,相較于空氣冷卻和冷板式間接液冷存在著顯著優(yōu)勢(shì)。本文從部署原理、相變機(jī)制、冷卻液類型等維度對(duì)當(dāng)下主流的浸沒式液冷技術(shù)展開了詳細(xì)論述,并對(duì)其未來發(fā)展提出了推廣建議。

近年來,人工智能、云計(jì)算、物聯(lián)網(wǎng)、區(qū)塊鏈等技術(shù)的不斷進(jìn)步,對(duì)電子信息設(shè)備的性能和集成度提出了越來越高的要求,隨之而來的高熱密度和巨額能耗等問題對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)中心制冷技術(shù)也提出了更高的挑戰(zhàn),具體表現(xiàn)在以下幾個(gè)方面:
1.底層基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施性能的不斷提升帶來數(shù)據(jù)中心能耗的顯著增加。目前,高性能計(jì)算處理器單機(jī)熱負(fù)荷已達(dá)到一般處理器的2倍以上,單機(jī)柜整體功耗已經(jīng)翻倍,且數(shù)據(jù)中心的體量亦在與日俱增,高能耗已經(jīng)成為一個(gè)亟待解決的問題。
2.電子器件功率和封裝密度引發(fā)熱流密度的急劇提升。據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì),失效的電子器件中有55%是由于溫度過高或不均造成的,面對(duì)高功率和高封裝帶來的前所未有的冷卻需求。
3.高效制冷成為數(shù)據(jù)中心轉(zhuǎn)型的重要環(huán)節(jié)。冷卻能耗占總能耗的40%左右,且運(yùn)行過程中溫度的不斷升高會(huì)造成巨大隱患,因此提高制冷效率是高能效、高密度配置轉(zhuǎn)型的有效手段。
4.國家已經(jīng)頒布了一系列政策,旨在引導(dǎo)數(shù)據(jù)中心向綠色、高效的方向發(fā)展。如2020年國家發(fā)改委頒布的《關(guān)于加快構(gòu)建全國一體化大數(shù)據(jù)中心協(xié)同創(chuàng)新體系的指導(dǎo)意見》中提到,2025年前大型數(shù)據(jù)中心PUE<1.3。這一舉措極大推動(dòng)了冷卻技術(shù)的升級(jí)。
目前,數(shù)據(jù)中心主要制冷技術(shù)包括風(fēng)冷、液冷、蒸發(fā)冷卻和自然冷卻,其中風(fēng)冷技術(shù)雖然憑借其低成本、易維護(hù)等特性成為當(dāng)前主要冷卻方式,但也存在其局限性:
1.采用集中制冷模式冷卻機(jī)架內(nèi)所有的電子器件,加之空氣的換熱系數(shù)較低,導(dǎo)致制冷效率低下、冷卻能耗過高。此外,冷熱空氣換熱不均勻會(huì)形成局部熱點(diǎn),而為消除這些熱點(diǎn)又會(huì)造成過度冷卻、額外耗能。
2.需要大量的空間來放置空調(diào)、機(jī)架和送風(fēng)通道,導(dǎo)致占用空間大、部署密度低。
3.常年不間斷的運(yùn)行模式,造成天然冷源的浪費(fèi),不利于節(jié)能環(huán)保。
傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)冷模式逐漸遇到瓶頸,數(shù)據(jù)中心制冷技術(shù)向精細(xì)化轉(zhuǎn)變已成必然趨勢(shì),在此背景下,液冷技術(shù)以其高效綠色的特點(diǎn)引起行業(yè)的普遍關(guān)注。
二、液冷技術(shù)簡(jiǎn)介及對(duì)比
液冷是指使用液體取代空氣作為冷媒,直接導(dǎo)向熱源帶走熱量的制冷技術(shù)。相較于傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)冷,液冷具有顯著的優(yōu)勢(shì):
1.液體的比熱容遠(yuǎn)高于空氣,可以吸收大量熱而保持溫度在較小范圍內(nèi)波動(dòng),有效抑制溫度驟升,在一定程度上允許超頻工作,提升了集成度。
2.風(fēng)冷制冷方式被取代,能耗迅速降低、電費(fèi)支出減少,且?guī)缀趺獬凉穸取⒒覊m和振動(dòng)影響,設(shè)備可靠性提升,硬件維護(hù)支出減少,同時(shí)減少了風(fēng)扇的振動(dòng)和噪音,基本可達(dá)到“靜音機(jī)房”效果。
根據(jù)冷卻液是否與IT設(shè)備直接接觸,可將液冷技術(shù)分為間接液冷和直接液冷。間接液冷是指發(fā)熱器件與液體冷媒之間沒有直接接觸的制冷方式,冷板式液冷是間接液冷的典型部署方式。而直接液冷采用冷卻液,通過冷卻液與發(fā)熱元件直接接觸將熱量循環(huán)帶走,其中最具代表性的就是浸沒式液冷。本文從支持性能和綜合性能兩個(gè)方面進(jìn)行了空氣冷卻、冷板式間接液冷和浸沒式直接液冷的對(duì)比,詳見表1、表2。

可以看出,冷板式液冷只有大功耗發(fā)熱元件CPU)采用液冷散熱,仍需保留部分風(fēng)冷裝置,且冷卻液沒有與電子元件直接接觸,散熱性能、空間利用率和節(jié)能降噪效果都不及浸沒式液冷,故本文接下來針對(duì)浸沒式液冷技術(shù)進(jìn)行闡述。
三、浸沒式液冷解決方案
浸沒式液冷以液體作為傳熱介質(zhì),將發(fā)熱電子元件直接浸沒于冷卻液中,通過冷卻液與電子元件直接接觸進(jìn)行熱交換帶走熱量,是一種新型高效、綠色節(jié)能的數(shù)據(jù)中心制冷解決方案。
根據(jù)冷卻液是否發(fā)生相變,浸沒式液冷分為相變浸沒式液冷和單相浸沒式液冷。相變浸沒式液冷利用冷卻液沸點(diǎn)低可發(fā)生沸騰相變的特性,在沸騰過程中利用潛熱吸收熱量來達(dá)到散熱的效果。而單相浸沒式液冷技術(shù)是指將電子設(shè)備完全浸沒在冷卻液中進(jìn)行直接冷卻,形成封閉的導(dǎo)熱回路。相變浸沒式液冷主要由冷卻液、密封腔體、芯片散熱膜模塊、冷卻模塊和室外冷源組成,包括服務(wù)器冷卻回路和冷凝冷卻回路兩個(gè)循環(huán)回路。
如圖1所示,液冷機(jī)箱內(nèi)裝有低沸點(diǎn)的冷卻介質(zhì),電子設(shè)備浸泡在密封的柜體中,電子元件工作時(shí)產(chǎn)生的熱量會(huì)使得冷卻液溫度升高,當(dāng)溫度超過飽和溫度時(shí),冷卻液受熱沸騰形成蒸汽泡逃逸至機(jī)柜頂部的蒸汽區(qū),即在罐內(nèi)形成氣相區(qū)域,形成的蒸汽被外循環(huán)回路的冷凝管換熱器再次冷凝成液體滴落到機(jī)柜中,冷凝管中的水等其他冷卻介質(zhì)與冷卻液換熱后,由泵輸入干燥塔,與空氣進(jìn)行冷卻換熱,通過循環(huán)流動(dòng)將熱量傳遞出去。中科曙光硅立方液冷相變冷卻計(jì)算機(jī)采用的就是浸沒相變液冷技術(shù),以氟化液作為冷媒,實(shí)現(xiàn)能效比PUE突破性降至1.04,節(jié)能效果顯著,此外還將CPU主頻提高15-20%,單機(jī)柜功率密度提升至160kW,部署密度也達(dá)到領(lǐng)先水平。

如圖2所示,在單相浸沒式液冷中,冷卻液與服務(wù)器熱源直接進(jìn)行對(duì)流換熱,利用冷卻液的顯熱吸收服務(wù)器產(chǎn)生的熱量,同時(shí)通過循環(huán)泵使加熱后的冷卻液進(jìn)入換熱器與溫水進(jìn)行循環(huán)流動(dòng)換熱,將電子元件產(chǎn)生的熱量通過換熱器傳遞給外部冷卻設(shè)備,末端外部冷卻側(cè)設(shè)備一般采用冷卻塔或干冷塔等進(jìn)行自然冷卻,將熱量傳遞到環(huán)境中,整個(gè)過程中冷卻介質(zhì)沒有發(fā)生相變過程。阿里巴巴浙江仁和數(shù)據(jù)中心采用單相浸沒液冷技術(shù),將IT設(shè)備浸沒在絕緣氟化液中,實(shí)現(xiàn)數(shù)據(jù)中心年均能源使用效率PUE不高于1.09。另一實(shí)例是網(wǎng)宿科技研發(fā)的DLC直接浸沒式液冷技術(shù),其最大的特點(diǎn)在于采用自研的礦物油作為浸沒液體的冷卻液,雖然無相變換熱效率相對(duì)較低,但是成本低維護(hù)相對(duì)簡(jiǎn)易。

可以看出,冷卻液作為浸沒式液冷系統(tǒng)的重要組成部分,應(yīng)具備以下特性:
1.良好的熱物理性質(zhì),包括高熱傳導(dǎo)系數(shù)、高比熱容和低粘度,對(duì)于浸沒式相變液冷還應(yīng)具有高汽化潛熱,即同樣的散熱量消耗更少的冷卻液。
2.單相冷卻液應(yīng)具有高沸點(diǎn),而相變冷卻液則應(yīng)具有較低的沸點(diǎn),即當(dāng)電子設(shè)備溫度不是很高時(shí),冷卻液也可以發(fā)生穩(wěn)定相變帶走熱量,以確保設(shè)備溫度保持平穩(wěn)。
3.其液態(tài)、氣態(tài)以及氣液混合時(shí)都滿足絕緣要求,與電子元件兼容,有良好化學(xué)和熱穩(wěn)定性,對(duì)環(huán)境友好,無毒無害無腐蝕易清理,且經(jīng)濟(jì)性高。目前,常見的冷卻液包括芳香族物質(zhì)、硅酸酯類、脂肪族化合物、有機(jī)硅及氟碳化合物等,其中應(yīng)用廣泛的是氟化液(氟碳化合物)和礦物油(脂肪族化合物)。氟化液雖具有較好的絕緣性和流動(dòng)性,穩(wěn)定不易燃,但價(jià)格昂貴。而礦物油具有價(jià)格低廉、環(huán)境友好的特性,且已經(jīng)在電器元件直接接觸式冷卻方面得到廣泛應(yīng)用,如作為變壓器油等。
四、浸沒式液冷的未來發(fā)展
數(shù)字化進(jìn)程的加速和“雙碳”承諾都使得綠色數(shù)據(jù)中心建設(shè)成為大勢(shì)所趨,浸沒式液冷憑借節(jié)能環(huán)保、安全低耗等核心優(yōu)勢(shì)已然具備成為未來重要冷卻技術(shù)的潛質(zhì),但全面推廣仍存較多阻力:
1.初始部署投資大,價(jià)格昂貴的冷卻液以及各種不菲的顯性和隱性成本,造成前期成本增加。
2.許多企業(yè)尚無運(yùn)營高功率密度數(shù)據(jù)中心的需求,風(fēng)冷尚可解決散熱問題,液冷并非首選。
3.數(shù)據(jù)中心管理人員對(duì)浸沒式液冷技術(shù)所帶來的基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施架構(gòu)與運(yùn)維體系的變革,需要一個(gè)相對(duì)漫長的適應(yīng)過程。
4.液冷系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)建設(shè)和測(cè)試驗(yàn)收無標(biāo)可依,產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量和規(guī)格參差不齊,且尚未得到長期充分的驗(yàn)證,行業(yè)共識(shí)度不高。
為推進(jìn)浸沒式液冷逐漸發(fā)展成熟、數(shù)據(jù)中心行業(yè)脫碳轉(zhuǎn)型,本文提出四點(diǎn)應(yīng)用建議:
1.加速液冷行業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)建設(shè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的制定,完善設(shè)備安裝調(diào)試等相關(guān)規(guī)范的普及,提高原材料和配件的通用性,支持液冷技術(shù)應(yīng)用示范點(diǎn)的推進(jìn),實(shí)現(xiàn)由點(diǎn)及面的推廣應(yīng)用。
2.針對(duì)不同需求定制不同的制冷方案,“風(fēng)冷+液冷”協(xié)同發(fā)展會(huì)更好地賦能各行各業(yè)的發(fā)展。
3.設(shè)置冷卻液回流機(jī)制,將吸收的熱量接入樓宇采暖系統(tǒng)和供水系統(tǒng),在提升數(shù)據(jù)中心的制冷效率的同時(shí),還實(shí)現(xiàn)了余熱利用、創(chuàng)造了附加價(jià)值。
4.推動(dòng)氟化液或礦物油的自主研發(fā),打破國外壟斷局面(現(xiàn)行的冷卻液大多是價(jià)格高昂的進(jìn)口氟化液,比如3M的氫氟醚),降低部署成本。
綠色數(shù)據(jù)中心時(shí)代已經(jīng)到來,浸沒式液冷的發(fā)展是機(jī)遇與挑戰(zhàn)并存的過程,是曇花一現(xiàn),還是成為新基建時(shí)代數(shù)據(jù)中心的主流讓我們拭目以待。
